Burfields House Wealth Management Ltd
Principal Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management
Owain is our resident conspiracy theorist! He joined the Burfields House Wealth Management Ltd team some five years ago during a two-week work experience placement and has since worked his way through the ranks to become a fully qualified St. James's Place Wealth Manager.
Coming from a family of bankers and business owners, Owain understands fully the challenges that present themselves to small/medium size businesses and works closely with them to help them achieve their aspirations. Whether their goal is to extract profits in a tax-efficient manner or to ensure the effective passing of the business to the next generation, Owain aims to assist businesses and their owners in a concise and efficient manner, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Owain also principally advises our rural and landed clients; focussing on simplifying and diversifying their estates to be better prepared for the ever-changing modern world. Intergenerational wealth planning is an area of concern for nearly all clients and Owain works closely with the beneficiaries and executors of our Private Clients, to ensure the holistic planning we put into place remains effective throughout the generations.
Owain is also our resident Pension and Retirement Planning adviser, working with clients to form robust financial plans for their future retirement. The greatest challenge in any retirement plan is to condense the range of options now available to clients when drawing on their pensions and to deliver solutions in a simple and easily understandable format.
Owain is a keen rugby enthusiast and, as you might expect from the name, is an avid supporter of the Welsh rugby team. Other interests include clay pigeon shooting and politics.
Owain is working towards gaining Chartered Financial Planner status and he hopes to become a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the near future.
The Partner Practice is an Appointed Representative of and represents only St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority) for the purpose of advising solely on the group's wealth management products and services, more details of which are set out on the group's website www.sjp.co.uk/products.
